Hyundai's worldwide site lists the Elantra being available with a 2.0L Diesel engine.
http://worldwide.hyundai-motor.com/cybermall/showroom/passenger/elantra/spec.html
What country is this from?
It's got 37% more Torque than the 2.0L Beta (25.5Kg.m vs 18.6Kg.m). 25.5 kilogram-force meter = 184. foot pound-force.
Although it's Total Power (which I am assuming is a metric version of horsepower) is lower, 111ps vs 141ps.
The site also lists a V8 Omega Engine with 264 foot pounds of torque. http://worldwide.hyundai-motor.com/cybermall/showroom/engin/gasoline/main.html
Does another auto manufacturer use these?
