Ive found that auctions that make an attempt at being funny get more hits, here's my attempt though im not a funny man.

i Would really appreciate it if someone who visits a mustang forum could post this there. (MCM, im looking at you!)

some of you have looked at the link, and if you read it, let me know what you think. if its as non-funny as I think it is, i want to remove it

some dumbass won the auction for my drag slicks. the auction clearly stated paypal payments only. He said his paypal account was messed up, so he wanted to send me a money order....fine, i sent him the info. he apparently mailed it to the wrong place, and I never received it, he said he'd send it overnight. a couple of weeks went by and no reply to emails, I looked up his info and tried calling him, but the number was disconnected. I sold the item and a few MORE weeks later, he left his feedback. im pretty sure that he was trying to pull an ebay scam and send out fake money orders...especially since his ebay acocunt has been disabled.

but super, the question is: was it at all funny?

Tharptroy, I'm only telling you this because I sincerely think you want to sell your item. Hack out that ENTIRE second paragraph. All that makes me want to do is hit the back button and check the next auction. Most people will wonder what the hell you are trying to say, and not want to read it. Let's say I was a serious Mustand tuner and looked at your auction, I would just look right past your auction, and think that you needed some help. Just get straight to the facts, don't lie, and people will start bidding. You're selling something that people will want, so you don't need any gimmicks. Good luck.

yeah, its a pretty good deal, i hope it gets sold. thats the kind of input I was waiting for. maybe no one else wanted to say it, but I appreciate the honesty
