I have a header I got from the pick and pull. I am wanting to do header and exhaust. My biggest concern is not passing emissions and inspection. Is there a way to set up header and exhaust so that you can pass the sniff test?

Switch out with the stock stuff before you go. Or have the car running for a bit before you take it there. My second suggestion will always work but the first one that was suggested by me and someone else will work.

as long as the parts are street legal and meet the emission reqiurments it should pass. (but wheres the fun in meeting those standards)
its a pain, switching back to stock is your best bet

ok a better awnser for what i said is it must have all the original smog equipment that came with that car still on the car and in working order. and it must be street legal according to whatever state you live in. and with the newer cars they pressurize the fuel system as well as check the emissions (at least they do here in cali) so make sure your stuff is air tight.

What the hell kind of header did you get from the junkyard? Pictures.

Why the hell is that an option?

Keep your exhaust the way it is and swap it back. Thats probably about the only way you're going to pass the sniffer. Where I live, all they do is check for a CEL and if you don't have one you're good to go. They work under the assumption that if the light isn't on then all the systems are functioning properly
