I have just ordered all the parts for the Tib rear sway bar mod and wanted to do something to the front end sway bar. But I have read on here that if you do a bigger sway bar in the front its not so good. So I was just going to get some Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings for the front bar to stiffen it up a bit.

Does anyone know the size of a stock front sway bar for a 2006 Elantra GT hatchback?

Not 100% sure but I would say 22mm or 7/8".

my GLS has a 23mm bar on it. got the bushings from Shark Racing.

front on gt and gls is 23 it was the rear thta was differant.

Okay cuz I got my bushings from energy suspension the size I ordered was a 23mm greasable

That's odd because my GLS is 24mm in the front, I'm getting Nolathane bushings all round, I need to find out the size of the bracket on the front. I tool measurements but I don't believe they are accurate.

Its 23mm

I've order 23mm bushings fits nice & tight on sway bar but thats my car im not sure if yours is different

Well I bought the rear sway bar, but the gave me the front too. I'm installing the rear today. Question... Can you use the Tiburon End Links on the XD?

Kinda angry now, followed you're advice and ordered the 23mm. Guess what.. In Australia the front sway bar is 24mm on the 2.0lt Xd. Does anyone want some new bushings?
