HEY HDers! New 17" OEM rim choice!

And its not what you might think!

for ****s and giggles I threw the rim up on an eclipse we had in at work. and the lug pattern matches...AS DOES THE HUB. The hub for an eclipse is identical to the HD hub --- what does this mean?

Get some OEM eclipse rims and they will bolt right up, no modification needed. And they come with 17".

You can thank me later :)

(thanks to amanda for unknowingly letting me mount her rim on an eclipse. hope she wont be upset the rim isnt a hyundai vigrin anymore  )

Should double-check the bore diameters. If the Mitsu has a smaller bore, than the Hyundai wheel will fit on Mitsu, but not the other way around. I wouldn't want someone to buy some eclipse rims and be disappointed if they don't fit.
that, and why wud anyone buy oem mitsu rims to replace their oem hyundai rims anyways... lol
Shoulda got pics of the Mitz on slant-H rimz. Mad KDM yo.
yeah hyundai moved away from mistu****ty a long time ago!

the bores are identical from what i could tell - there was no play like there is with aftermarket rims...the rim seat itself perfectly onto the hub

67.2mm seems like the right bore size.
Your lifts look crappy
^its not mine I hate x-post lifts
What was done to that eclipse? I see Full race on the side of it.
67.1 is hyundai's bore
its the gf of a coworker who has a fully built turbo 420a RS.
hey now. way to show off my snow tires there. haha
Absolutely makes no sense why someone would put wheels from another auto manufacturer on their car. It's Rice, and stupid.

I don't know what the benefits are of knowing that the Eclipse and the HD have the same hub size.

Screw the wheels, that's rice...

If the hub is the same, then what about rotors, calipers, etc. ???
How is it rice? The OZ rims off the lancer/eclipse and the SER rims look great on our cars...
The do look great, no problem here.

But if you put SE-R wheels on your Hyundai, and leave the Nissan center cap, it's rice.

If you put OZ/Lancer wheels on your car, make sure the center caps only say OZ, and not Lancer or Mitsu.
That's not what you said in the least...
Why would you do this? cuz GLS hds come with the same tiny 15" that the xd - xd2s have, and some people dont have money to drop on aftermarket rims.

I personally am looking for tibby or sonata rims to keep it in the Hyundai family.
Would the difference between 67.1 and 67.2 be enough to make the wheels vibrate? If so, then, poop.
