10 being the most fun.

I would give it just above average because I enjoy spirited driving and it does a good job. But I wish it had more power.
yeah....about a 7...its better w/ suspension mods, but the lack of power takes it down a couple points
I rate it a 9 because it's my first new car,and I love it...Just too bad it dont have enough power though
i'm with evan, though i gave it an 8.
with it lowered, better tires and the famous sway bar, it's great. power isn't too bad for me either. not like i got this car aiming to take down some sport compacts. at least it's pretty fast in its class, so it works for me.
6. just not enough power, but around the twisties, even with bone stock suspension, its fun. although, I havent drivin anything else thats much better at handling, so i dont have much to compare to.
^Not enough power YET......lol. I rated mine a 7, it's better than my last car, & absolutly love it's style but I still need to add a couple of things to make it the ultimate fun car. ;)
I don't know why you all are complaining about the power. When I put my foot down it takes off and goes from 50-150 pretty damn fast. Unless you're drag racing, I don't see the need for much more power than that.

Anyway, I gave mine an 8 for fun factor. I figured a Ferrari would be 10, so I had to shave a couple of points off. I still consider my car to be so fun to drive, it's criminal.
yeah this is my first car and i love driving it and being in the driver's seat handles decently just need that sway bar and shes pretty quick so i can't complain that much about it... hopefully i can make her a bit more faster though
I picked 6. Lack of power, more importantly, lack of quick acceleration is what I would like. The 2.4l Theta in the 3253lb Sonata felt good, imagine that in a 2800lb Elantra (I expect the new Elantra to be slightly heavier than it is now). So, that's what we have to look foward to.

i gave it a 9. real fun diving it into corners and spraying coming out of them :D
and bass that will make your head hurt all while watching a movie.
SLOW way too slow..looks cool though and sounds cool
9. love the car.. BIG improvement over my last one and i havent really seen any in its class thats as good/better than it
I gave it an 8... with the tib swaybar, 17" wheels, front and rear strut braces, and CAI / catback. I'd say 6 stock.
7 now. I need some mods done to it. After that, it will go up to 8.
I rated it 7- the middle of the pack, I guess. I test drove a lot of cars before I settled on the Elantra, and I guess in this segment, the Mazda3 wagon gets a 10. Suzuki Aerio gets a 9 on fun but scores a lot lower in several other areas. Elantra is right in that range of 7-8. It rates higher than most simply because it is such an unexpected pleasure to drive. The dealer was too cheap to throw in floor mats on my Elantra 5-door, so I bought some today (at another dealer) and the sound level in the cabin is noticeably lower.

This car just keeps on surprising me with how much fun it is to drive and how well designed it is. I've most recently been splitting time between a Ford Aspire which I sold last month after almost 10 years, and a Ford Escort wagon that used to be our primary family car and now is the kids' car. I thought the Escort was pretty good, especially in comparison to the Aspire. But it doesn't hold a candle to the Elantra which has pretty good pull off the line and a nice, sweet note in its engine. The Escort seems to be huffing and puffing just to get up to the speed limit. (Granted, it is 10 years old an has 112k miles, but still...)

Anyway, my Elantra is just the bees' knees.

6.5 needs more power I hate getting dusted by minivans....
^^^By the way Tom your car looks good

I rated mine a 7. I think there is just enough power for what I use it for, it pulls past car on the highway without any problem, and I dont drag-race, so the power is sufficiant.

I also like the way it handles, I mean it's no BMW, but what can you expect for how much I bought it for. It handles corners without being too soft or hard handling.

I have an LCD in my dash and others can enjoy it without having the stereo up too loud because it's quiet.

I also pull my waverunner and snowmobile with it, so because of it, I can have some fun.

I also like how people look at it sometimes, you know since it's a little different lookinh from the back. :D
A 6 for me because bone-stock, it feels a little heavy in the country roads. I think the power is adequate and like most other economy sedans its all about building and keeping momentum.

And Mr. Dan, Ferraris are fun until you have to do a tune-up ;)
I give it an 8 now. Handling plays a big part in the fun-factor and I've done a lot to improve it.

I'd give it about a 5.5 in stock form.
