Ignition kill...alarm works?!?!

Does anyone know if the alarm/remote unlock will still operate if power from battery to starter (or similar "immobilizing" setup) is removed?

I kinda liked the following item, but if it would not allow my unlock/factory alarm to work, if it is serving the same purpose as the factory alarm, or if it is just plain "overkill" ------ let me know.

Choose "Kill Switch with removable key" on the top bar

If you lose power to the starter, it could disable the entire car. The factory alarm already has a starter disable function on it.
Looks like a pretty cool little system. Wish I had one on my car :(. Maybe I'll get one, so I can turn off my stock parts in a cool way! :D
