i really like my silver 2001 gls but i wanted a black gt n the first place but didnt get it now i like that and the xg350 i really want those but its not gonna happen ......just i always wanted a black on black car and that gt was my chance and i didnt do it.....o well maybe when my car is paid off i can just paint my silver gls black

I have a silver 2004 GLS...black can look really good when properly detailed and maintained....but otherwise it looks like crap. My friend has a 2003 black Elantra and unless you really take care of it the silver hides so much more blemishes then a black car...take solace in your silver that hides scratches/dirt/chips etc

yea tru tru but black car tint windows and chrome rims......dont get no better but yea the silver car do hides marks beter than a black car so +1 silver

My girlfriend also has a silver XD2 (04). I think it's been like 3 months since she has washed it and is still looks clean. I need to just take the damn thing and wash it for her. The dirt is starting to become part of the financing.

Black is the way to go if you have the time and $$ to maintain. I have to wash my black 01 GLS once a week in the summer cause I live in farm country and dust kicked up everywhere. Too bad there are scratches and a couple of dents from rocks and hail.

My car is in the same boat. I am constantly having to wash it. Any minor scratch shows up like a soar thumb, and minor door dings stick out like mad. Our silver one finally got a bath today, and you can barely tell.
