Thanks for the 14mm tip. I did try to get a grip on it but it is very thin so, being the idiot I am I ended up rounding off the head. So, I decided just to spend the extra $30 to purchase new sway bar links. They should be replaced anyway, right???

Plus, this will give me an excuse to go buy a grinder to cut off the old ones.

Funny how I am not GOOD at working on cars but I do ENJOY it!

The rubber "tops" of my friend's 2002 Elantra front struts are cracked. In the drawing below, is it part 54610 or 54620, or both, that she needs?
