What does the tib muli-gauge look like, I've seen people talking about it, but never seen one. No I haven't even been in a tib., I looked at it and figured that my Insh would be way to high.

well, I had no camera during installation so no pics about installing.

I bought the wiring harness from the member of nt.com.

Only hard part is making torque gauge work.

I will do my best to help you guys install this.

I don't know how accurate these gauges are, but I can tell you that

these gauges are awsome.

BTW, I bought the blue face cover from kspec.com

Anyone buying this gauge, don't buy at evofusion.

I ordered same day, kspec came 1 week later,

evofusion took me 3 weeks and 2 days.

whatever help you can give would be great...I am going to get the multigauge and install it....but you gotta show us where the wires hook in for the signals.

BTW: shouldnt the kg/m gauge read zero at idle since no torque is being produced?

torque goes at 2.5 at idle, 5 with A/C on. Full throttle at 19.
I heard it's normal to point like that.
I mean, it's reading from ECU so it is different than real.
I am not sure about other Elantra model.
Mine is 2003 GT 5 speed.

When you look at the back side of Multi gauge, there is 12 pin wiring point.
Only 9 will be used.

1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6
7. 8. 9.10 11 12

Basically,
1,7 is for torque, 3 and 4 is for milage. 2,8,11 no use.
3 is for ignition, 4 is speed, 5 is injector signal.
6 is Battery +, 12 is Battery -
9 is light on, 10 is light off.

1,7 will hook with ECM (ECU)
4,5 from speed cluster.
3,6,9,10,12 from cd player.

4 - M10-1 #3 (grey/orange)

5 - M10-1 #6 (blue/orange)

3 - Audio M16 #7 (Yellow)
6 - Audio M16 #16 (Red)

@@@ ECM is located under dashboard just above footrest.
It is big connector. ECM has Metal housing, black plastic on connector.
It has 81 pin wire connector.
When you look at the connector to the left top, that is #6.
#7 is right under #6.
If you are not sure, look closely and you can read the conecting wire #.
On the connector, there is no wire on #6 and #7
Right top part of connector, which is #63, has no connecting wire too.
Don't be confused. #64 has wire on it.
Hard to explain but when you look at the ECM, wire number's are like this.

M10-1 or M09-1 or M09-3 is the connector located back side of speed cluster.
It is different on new XD.

M10-1 is VDO cluster (01-03 GT model)
There is 2 connector on back side of cluster and M10-1 is with 16 wire.
M10-1 is VDO cluster (04 GT model)
There is 3 connector on back side of cluster and M10-1 is with 20 wire.

M09-1 and M09-3 is GLS model.
There is 3 connector on back side of cluster and M09-1 and M09-3 is with 20 wire.

@@@ I am not sure about GLS model and 04 new XD.
All info is from Korea GLS which is 1.5L engine @@@

M16 is the connector from back side of cd player
@@@ I am not sure about cassette player. I had cd player option @@@

Please understand that English is my second language.
I could have explained way better in Korean.
Any questions, I'll do my best. :D

P.S. Again, I am not sure about 04 models, 01-04 GLS models.
I got these info from Korean XD forum and they said, all 2.0 models in Korea worked.
Please check the wires (connecting points) where it goes have the right color wires before you try.
That's what I did and made it work. ;)

Awesome! Now to spend the $98 for the tib multi-gauge, and $19 for the bros faces, and a day of my time...

at idle the engine is under a little load from the alternator, flywheel, and everything else that is connected to it, even though the wheels arn't turning.

the gauges are 109 at kspec now.

Making sure that i understand...

Insted of connecting to the CAN connectors at the kick panel, we wire directly into the ECU?

and the pins on M10-1 change depending on what model we have, but the colors are the same.

Looks pretty easy, just take your time sodering.
