Pretty much every hybrid does that. Only thing new here is that this is a gas-only car.

That's pretty sweet, I've got a simular setup in my car it consist of my right arm and my brain.

I wonder how take off is effected, nothing is mentioned about that.
The green graphics are a nice touch.

it says in the article that as soon as you touch the the clutch, the engine starts, so what they're saying is, depress the clutch, put it in gear and the engine is started before you lift off the clutch.

That's nuthin', I have a button for each spark plug on my console and do the timing myself as I drive. Seriously, that's simple and cool.... sounds like old cars could be retrofited to do that too.
