Autoweek has a funny article about old car company websites. It takes a look at some mid-late 90s version of domestic car brands using the Wayback Machine.

I thought I would take a look at Hyundaiusa.com from back in the day. The earliest one is from 1998 and I can say that I don't remember visiting.

I do however remember the one from March of 2000. In March of 2001 is when I bought my 2001 Accent GS. The site was different then than the previous March. The site then stayed the same for at least 2 years. That was back in the really great days of Hyundai forums.

Anyway, how far back do you remember the main Hyundai site?

It's so simple it hurts. It's almost like they wanted the website to be as boring as windows 95.
