One strut bar better than another?

Ok, so I did a search throughout the forums to see if I could find any threads that list one strut bar as being better than another, but all I can find are listings of the available bars. So is one particular strut bar better than another? Or are they all basically the same? I would think that the strength of the steel they're made out of would change the amount the bar can flex, so is there one that flexes less than another? Or are they all basically the same unit with simply a different sticker on the top?

I concur.... DC Sports is the one.

I have a Kia Spectra front strut bar right now. The Elantra doesn't have as much clearance under the hood as the Spectra so the bar doesn't quite fit. It needs to be mounted differently which makes it actually touch the intake manifold sometimes when backing up. I plan to get a DC Sports bar at some point.
The KDM Tiburon OEM bar is also great!
Forget those Evofusion ones... Crap
do you happen to have a picture of the KDM Tiburon OEM bar?
The disadvantage of that bar is that you have to remount the cruise control module to get that one to fit. With the DC Sports bar, depending on tolerances, you may have to slight "tweak" the location of the CC (by bending the bracket just a little), or just leave it as is.

There are four clearance issues with strut bars:

1. Cruise Control module. CC is not standard in many markets, so some bars totally ignore it in their design, meaning you have to remount the CC module.

2. Hood clearance. Some bars touch the underside of the hood.

3. Engine clearance. When going in reverse, the engine tends to rise and may come up high enough for the intake manifold to touch the bar. (I have a Kia Spectra bar on my Elantra; because of hood clearance issues, I had to mount it on the bottom of the brackets which makes it lower and it touches the manifold if I give it too much gas in reverse.)

4. Firewall clearance. Some get close to the firewall, although I am unaware of any that unintentionally touch it.

When looking at strut bars, these are the areas you need to be aware of.

DC Sports > RRM > Tuscani > everything else
Actually depends on if you want to mess with relocating the CC module.
I'm not comfortable with a strut bar mounted to ONLY one bolt on each side. IE the RRM bar.
The Tuscani bar of course has to relocate the CC module, but it is OEM designed otherwise and mounts to two strut bolts on each side.
Finally, The DC Sports bar only requires a slight bending/flexing (though their is not much room to do that) of the CC module and mounts to all 3 strut bolts on each side.
So my ranking goes based on strut mounts and ease of install.
DC Sp>Tuscani>RRM>any others (as all others are flat peices of metal rather than round bars)
As stated stay away from anything that has a pivot point, that pretty much renders the bars stiffening effect useless. The DC sports bar is by far the best one, my buddy has one on his SRT-4 and its a heavy duty piece. If its just look you want then get one of those el-cheapo polished pivot strut bars.
where is everyone getting their DC sports bars at? approx price range?

3: everything else.

I got my DC bar for $118 here: PTuning.com

Isn't it with cruise control that you can't install this bar? Or am I thinking of another bar?
I tried one of those in my car but I forgot to check clearance to the hood. Any issues there?

The OEM Tuscani bar requires relocation for the CC module.

So... does this DC Tibby bar (2003-2005) fit the bay of the 2002+ models?
Got a question my car came with the Shark Racing front bar and I think that it has the pivit points is there a way that someone could answer that?
