Hey Guys, quick question. Have any of you replaced the O.S. ? I was reading somewhere that you are soppose to replace them at 50K. I havent done so and now has me worried.Opon checking up on this for our car, there seems to be 2 of them, one in the front and in the back. Which one is the one needs replacing? OH boy more money to spend on the car :hand:

people say 60k, but the old addage, "if it aint broke, dont fix it" Personally, most people arent going to replace a fully functioning O2 sensor, they can last up to 100k. Yes, its true...there are 2 sensors, upstream and downstream. The one closest to the head usually has to be replaced first.

Do not change them if they are working, there is absolutely no point. But if you do change them, would you like to sell me the pre-cat one cheap? Mines going bad (after only 35K miles).

okay thanks guys. I was also thinking to myself " If it aint broke, dont fix it " gig too. Especially since one of the sensor was quoted to me at over 180bucks

Yep, they are not cheap at all.....
