the xd2 only works as a blinker and when you lock it the bulb is a 1156. now if you do what i did and swap over to an xd set up the it will be a running light and blinker light.
problem with front lights

I'm having a problem with my front lights, its the amber lights that are also used as blinkers/hazards.
if I'm not mistaken these used to run any time the light switch was turned on and then they would flash when the blinker was activated, is this correct?
now they don't come on, but activating the blinkers works fine, i checked the bulbs and they only have one filament and they work as blinkers.
is this a problem that could be caused by the blinker relay but it would still blink?
where is the blinker relay located?
also what else should i check?

yeah just the lights on the side are running lights not the ones in the headlights.
^bingo trust me i swaped mine over to the xd style just for the running light since i have the kdm clear covers. less of a chance of the cops giving me a hard time and i got the kdm bumper molding with out the running lights being the other reason for me doing the swap.
