yup...just have to switch left with the right and vise versa. I'll be there in a week and half if you need help with the install.
They're pieces of junk. Anyone who says otherwise is full of themselves. $400 is a decent price on a set of good plain struts. Do you really expect a quality coilover for $400? Racelands are for dropping you car stupid low and staying still. It's pure rice suspension.Wow $399 for coilovers? Thats cheap! Any reviews on these coilovers?
I paid $850 for my megan coilovers tought that was a good deal and they ride very comfortable.
I don't know about you, but most of the people on those forums seem to be a lot more reputable than any of usThey're pieces of junk. Seriously? You think just because they drive BMW's they have a better understanding of what's good vs what's crap? Money and Sense dont always go hand in hand. Just think about it. $400. Decent coilovers by other companies start at $400/ per CORNER. What possibly makes you think these could be anything other than pure crap?I don't know about you, but most of the people on those forums seem to be a lot more reputable than any of us
Tuned BMW>Tuned Hyundai
Plus, they have the coilovers, and we don't.
Just saying
do you know if they will fit the HD?
I would trust the BMW forum posters any day over you. You seem a little too close minded for this whole car modification thing.(no offense)Seriously? This post made me laugh. I have enough common sense to know that cheap parts = cheap performance. My closed mindedness about cheap parts comes from experience. As the old saying goes, a fool and his money will soon part. Same reason most people say dont buy the cheapest remanufactured replacement car part is the same reason you shouldnt buy these. Yes they're cheap, but they're cheap for a reason. It may work, it may be fine, but you know quality or design is going to be significantly compromised, so why take the chance?I would trust the BMW forum posters any day over you. I believe that they are a great price, and people who have owned them seem to say that they are a really good buy.
You claim that they are crap, and you do not own them.
Does that clarify it enough for you?
Talked to a MK1 owner who had a set at the Hyundai Kia repair shop. He said that he loved them, you just have to cut the bump stops in half.
Unlike you, I ask around.
He said that they were better than the godspeeds he had a few months ago.
Why take the chance you say?
I used something called logic.
Our cars are economy cars, and if a BMW can go track racing on a set of them, our little elantras can drive around on the streets with them.
Money equals performance?
Read Dsport, there was an issue covering IDRC, and they had a low 9 second civic making 900+ whp that cost them less than 20 grand to build including the car.
I get lucky when it comes to buying stuff, and I have a good feeling about these.
Any DIY's for installing tibby coilovers on our elantras?
