Money equals performance?
Read Dsport, there was an issue covering IDRC, and they had a low 9 second civic making 900+ whp that cost them less than 20 grand to build including the car.
Yes, you can always go fast for cheap, but you can't go fast for cheap reliably.

You may get lucky, but just be ready to swap back if something breaks prematurely, or be ready to buy another set.

avantegt;631559 Why take the chance you say? I used something called logic. Our cars are economy cars said:
I can go around a track on a pogo stick. Doesnt mean it's gonna be the fastest or most reliable way to do it though. These things dont even advertise what spring rates they're using.

Ive also done plenty of reading on these things from back when i had a GTi. Yes, there are lots of people who said they were fine, but if you read closely, a lot of those owners had only had them installed maybe a week to a month. Read deeper and long term, seen many complains about endlink brackets ripping off, strut mounts cracking. Ive also read that these coilovers are all pretty much universal. Same strut/spring design, just different mounting and length. Which means there's no R/D beyond will it fit. Meaning, yes, you'll go low, yes you'll have adjustable front camber, but it's gonna handle like crap regardless of the quality.

I read alot into these myself. Yeah alot of people use them. vw have problems because they drop the helper spring out because the slam it and cant figure out why the end link tabs break on them when they dont have adjustable endlinks or havent purchased them. Miata users like them. You can contact them to give you spring rates. These are truly set up for daily drive use. racing I wouldnt give them the time of day. No adjustable dampening would be my argument there. Also GTI owners have used these and said its makes the car look great but the oem spring and strut setup actually allow it to handle better. The GTI handles great out the box. The Elantra on the other hand out the box well might as well compete with a Toyota Previa.
