Blue, I was thinking that a regional calender view would be great to separate stuff like car shows and meets for certain regions, or where the Regional Moderator has access to posts in this view and can be linked with our Personal calenders. What do you think?

Then I'd need to set up seven or so separate calendars. And users will have to choose their own in the dropdown. Sometimes some people live close enough to go to an event in a different region but they won't see that on the calendar.
I think I'll just add all events to EXD calendar with location in the title and people will decide for themselves if it is far or not too far for them. And if they want, they can always add events into their own private calendar.
