What was your first mod?

First mod: Day 2 cut off stock muffler and had an Apex'i muffler welded on. Day 3 Spectre ( build your own intake from autozone). Day 4 added an amp and a single 10 in. sub to the jvc headunit that came with the car.

First thing was an Alpine HU. but I don't consider that so much a mod as the SRI I put on the very same night, which would become a CAI a few weeks later.

First mod on both of my Elantras (and my new Accent) was tinted windows.

SRI for me haha

i dont get it.

MY first mod was either the craptastic APC cone ghetto SRI , or the TB bypass!

i had a stereo in my old car that was to be put in my 1st xd, but they sold the car. between getting it and getting to the audio shop 3 weeks later, i took the dealer stickers off the back of it.

on my newer xd, i disabled the chime before i left the dealership lot. after that, CAI, 3 way nozzles, clear sidemarkers, debadge (same day), and some GR2s, H&Rs, and a tib sway w/ moog endlinks 2 months after getting it. i think i also chopped the antenna while i was at seans getting the suspension

The J2 sucked, too many issues and was automatic.

and even after a turbo and an attempted MT swap, it still sucked

actually, it was a bit of a sleeper.

Head unit - my car came from the dealer with the rims, so I can't really say those were my mods.

Very first mod was a 12 inch sub box and amp install

The shop connected it to the factory CD player...which was interesting to say the least...

reversing air filter + removing resonator box, or headunit

first: cai

TB bypass at 2k, then Pioneer HU at 3k, followed by SRI at 3.5k

JVC mp3 Tuner, Kenwood subwoofer and crunch power amplifier. And nothing is installed anymore.

stuck a cone filter on the plastic elbow,... sort of a short intake

i didnt see disconnected door chime as an option

i guess my first REAL wrench-turning mod was that CAI.

reversing air filter? did i miss something or am i STILL that n00b?

my subs then I couldn't stop and well 3k maybe 4k later ive stoped cause i'm out of money lol....
