A guy started AWD swap of his Elantra almost four years ago, but it looks like he never completed his project.
Today MSN news listed AWD vehicles under $10K as follows.

2. GMC Typhoon '92-'93 $8,000-$10,000
3. Jeep Wrangler '98-'04 $5,000-$10,000
4. Isuzu VehiCROSS '99-'00 $7,000-$9,500
5. Nissan Xterra '04-'07 $6,000-$10,000
6. BMW 325 Xi '02-'04 $6,800-$9,500
7. Audi A4 Quattro '02-'05 $7,000-$10,000
8. Toyota Sienna '04-'05 $8,500-10,000
9. Pontiac Aztek '04 $7,000-$9,000
10. Toyota matrix '04-'05 $8,000-$10,000
11. BMW X5 '01-'03 $7,500-$10,000
12. Volvo XC90 '04-'06 $7,000-$10,000

Any Hyundai AWD vehicles under $10k to recommend?

Finding a good condition WRX for under 10 grand is impossible.

When I was shopping for a car, I couldn't find any clean ones with less than 150k miles for under that much. The rest were smashed, beaten, or had a salvage title.

I don't believe in guides like this for finding a good 4wd or awd vehicle. I believe that you should find a car that is aesthetically pleasing to you, then read more about the vehicle and do your own research.

AWD Hyundias under $10K are going to be a used Tucson or Santa Fe. That's the end of the list.
