WTB:2003 stock intake

change it out and do a cold air intake. more power, better gas mileage, more torque better sound. It also looks cool. check out my car of the month. I bought a cold air intake (CAI) off ebay for $35 bucks shipped. it lista as a 94 accord piece. i think alot of guys will tell you the same

i had a cai! too loud for the cops around here.. now i have sri... thats not my problem.. my problem is i need to pass smog! and cant do that with sri on! so i went to put my stock intake back on and noticed im missing the top hose that connects the throttle body to the intake air filter box.. HOPEFULLY THIS CLEARS MY THREAD UP.. someone please helpp!! (=

just cut a piece of metal tubing and paint it black. whats the difference? lol

all it is, is plastic tubing. just make your own piece

yeah. that plastic piece wont affect your emissions. ud pass even with a sri/cai.

Pete doesn't know anything about cars. You'd fail the visual. You circled 3 pieces there. Maybe they think you need a new MAF too and that's why they want $150?

Call the junkyard and look on e-bay to.

^ unless its carb legal it wont pass. I think aem is the only aftermarket that is carb legal.

Because you are telling her that she's going to pass. You are going to cost her money when she goes, they charge her for the test, pop the hood, and fail her on the spot. She needs to have it stock in order to pass the visual.

must be a california thing then. because i passed emissions without a single issue with my short ram intake, back when i went n had mine done.

You've really never heard people *****ing about how strict cali emissions testing is?

Hey, some clown failed my car in Texas (no emissions testing in my old area) because of a short ram during the safety inspection.. LOL. I wasn't there to have a talk with him, I was deployed at the time.
