I want to get this done here within the next few months, so I'm starting to look around an so far the results are good...

I have found brand new 2004 sonata rotors for $52.99, and I have found the 2003 Tiburon GT brake calipers (remanufactured) for $53.99 both on autozone's website..

For just a hair over $200, it seems like a good deal to me!

There is actually quite a few "factory" big brake options for these cars, and they respond well to them all. Get stainless lines while you're at it. Much better pedal feel.

From what I have seen, the 2003 OEM Tiburon GT v6 calipers *(full assembly including the bracket) will be a direct bolt-on.

Once you have those items + the new pads, you can go to the DIY forum and read the steps to get them installed.

The final fitment will require the trimming of the upper section of the dust-shield which takes about 30 seconds if you are slow.

EDIT: I compared the part #'s for the tiburon brake pads vs the sonata pads and they are the same part #.
So it is very likely possible that the sonata calipers are also

Yeah you'll lose fluid and therefore need to bleed the system.

This is what mine look like, I want to convert my drums to disk. But I also want to do a bigger brake kit on the rear, I know it's more involved compared to the front BBK but could the XG350, Tib, or Sonata rear brakes fit on an XD?
